Belgium Beer Brewed by Monks
Chimay Unveils Draft Belgium Beer Launch in the U.S.
For years, the Trappist monks at the Chimay Abbey in Belgium have been creating rich ales to sustain their monastic lifestyle. Chimay Beer, crafted in a historic Belgian monastery, reflects the deep of Trappist brewing. This copper-hued ale features unique flavors of apricot, brown sugar, and nutmeg, enhanced the experience of a draft pour. It is made from entirely natural materials, with water sourced 100% from the wells of the abbey.
With a commitment to traditional methods and top ingredients, the monks have been brewing Chimay Première September 19, 1862. Chim Trappist beers are brewed within the abbey and produced under the supervision of the monks.
This announcement signifies a significant achievement for Chimay, as Première now becomes one the few Trappist beers available on draft in North America, identifiable by the hexagonal “Authentic Trappist Product” logo on their bottles.

What is the steak to choose at a steakhouse restaurant?
Filet Mignon is widely recognized as the finest steak cut. It is known for its remarkable tenderness and buttery texture. Its lean, fat-free quality and melt-in-your-mouth flavor make it the preferred steak choice at upscale restaurants that offer a variety of sauces to complement the tender steak. While the filet mignon is small and tender, some people may prefer their steak to be larger, spicier, and bolder in flavor, like a ribeye. Filet Mignon continues to be a timeless favorite.
Key highlights of Filet Mignon:
- Unparalleled Tenderness: Famous for its exceptional softness.
- Delicate Flavor A lean cut with a sophisticated flavor profile enhanced by sauce.
- Premium Choice: Often featured in high-end dining venues.
A classic sauce that complements Filet Mignon is Béarnaise sauce, while other popular options include peppercorn sauce, Bordelaise sauce, red wine reduction, or simple horseradish cream, depending on your taste.
